WLOP (1370 AM) is a radio station broadcasting a Sports radio format. Licensed to Jesup, Georgia, USA. The station is currently owned by Jesup Broadcasting Corp. and features programing from Fox Sports Radio. WLOP is Jesup's heritage station. Use of the term WLOP by Jesup/Wayne County natives can signify either WIFO-FM or WLOP. WLOP, meaning 1370-AM is usually referred to by long time listeners as "The AM" or "The AM Side". This dates back to when both stations were simulcast for a large portion of the broadcast day, and how they were referred to on air. Few stations anywhere are known by everyone in a community as "the AM" like WLOP1370. Since the re-inception of separate formats in the mid 90's, WLOP is Fox Sports Radio, AM-1370, or just 1370.
