WAQI (710 AM) is a commercial radio station based in Miami, Florida. It is known for its Spanish-language talk format called Radio Mambí. The station is owned by Latino Media Network and operated by Uforia Audio Network, which is the radio division of TelevisaUnivision. In a transitional agreement, Waqi broadcasts with 50,000 watts of power and serves as South Florida's primary entry point for the Emergency Alert System, along with two other stations in the state. The studios of Waqi are located at Univision's Miami headquarters, while the transmitter is positioned at the intersection of U.S. 41 and Florida State Road 997, near the fringe of the Everglades.[*]
