KMYI is a commercial radio station in San Diego, California, broadcasting on 94.1 FM and in HD Radio. KMYI airs a hot adult contemporary music format branded as "Star 94.1".

KMYI signed on in 1948 adopting the call letters KFSD-FM - simulcasting AM radio station KFSD (now KOGO) airing a MOR music format.

In 1956, KFSD-FM adopted the classical music format which it retained until January 13, 1997 when it dropped the format in favor of classic hits branded as "The Eagle".

KFSD was sold by Lotus Communications to Nationwide Communications in 1996 followed by a change of call letters to KXGL on February 3, 1997 to better match the rebranding to "The Eagle".

KXGL was acquired in 1998 by Jacor/Citicasters (later to be acquired by Clear Channel Communications).

On August 17, 1998, KXGL dropped the classic hits music format and call letters adopting a soft oldies music format under the call letters KJQY to match the change in branding to "K-Joy".

On November 21, 2001, KJQY swapped formats and call letters with "Mix 95.7", also owned by Clear Channel, and for a short time played Christmas music until December 26, 2001, when it acquired the KMYI call letters and became known as "My 94.1" and adopted the present hot AC format. The format was being simulcasted in Temecula, California on KMYT until December 2, 2004, when KMYT switched to a Smooth Jazz format.

On September 19, 2005, Jeff and Jer came to KMYI, and the station rebranded as STAR 94.1, picking up both the morning show and the moniker of the former "Star 100.7", which had switched to a Jack FM format earlier in 2005.

On August 20, 2009, Jeff and Jer exited Star 94.1 to be replaced by AJ Machado from AJ's Playhouse from sister CHR station KHTS-FM Channel 933. On August 31, 2009, AJ in the Morning debuted on Star 94.1 with his morning crew from KHTS-FM Channel 933 with Hula, Geena, and formerly from the Jeff and Jer Show, Delana.
