Radio The Ride (KRYD)

There still remains a radio station in Colorado dedicated to Rock and Roll music which evolved from jazz and the blues. KRYD-FM 104.9 The RIDE & 92.7 is Western Colorado’s real rock station. The RIDE has brought back to the airwaves what has been lost for nearly 20 years – the art of rock radio!, the deepest play list of rock n roll artists with only the hippest music from the last 50 years.



Built 1997 The RIDE is locally owned, operated by the family of broadcast pioneers that made FM radio history in the late 1960s as the original owners of KNAC Los Angeles one of the first Rock N Roll radio stations in the country. The Varecha family Bill, Debbie, Brad, Craig (a.k.a. Ghostman) and Paul program and operate The RIDE together with David Marsden Cleveland, Ohio's Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame and a small staff.



The music you hear on The RIDE is about up-beat songs that listeners can feel. Emotions of all types, once felt and lost, that can now be experienced again. Pinnacles of excitement, accompanied by moments of joyous reflection, laughter and fun!
