(serving Jackson Hole). The move was part of a complex move of 42 stations in a five state area. Following this move, the FCC changed its rules to allow no more than four stations in a single change. At this time, KITT-FM remains in Soda Springs ID due to its financial problems.
On May 29th 2009, The US Bankruptcy Court in Salt Lake City, UT appointed a receiver to take over KITT-FM. US Capital, Incorporated of Boulder CO. foreclosed on Legecy Media, the owners of KITT-FM and several other stations.
KITT's call letters were previously used in Las Vegas, NV, Pearl City, HI, Parowan, UT, San Diego, CA, and Shreveport, LA.
