Stereo broadcasting was introduced in 1975.

The Doobie has been considered one of the nation’s finest college radio stations. In 2008, 2012, and 2015, The Doobie was included on The Princeton Review’s list of “America’s Top 20 Most Popular College Radio Stations”, and in 2009 it was featured in American Eagle stores nationwide. Numerous Denison University graduates have used their Doobie experience as an entry into the field of commercial broadcasting.

In the Fall of 2019, the Doobie underwent a massive change in its services and structure. The Doobie now operates as a streaming only service. While you can no longer tune in on the dial, student DJs are producing new content on the ones and twos, just for you! Our global stream has made doobie vibes more accessible than ever, with a consistent way to share a passion for music and programming.
