"WZLR (95.3 FM), known as "The New 95.3 The Eagle," is a radio station based in Xenia, Ohio, USA, serving the Dayton area. It has been broadcasting an 80's based classic hits format since at least 2006. The station is licensed to broadcast at 6,000 watts and is currently owned by Cox Media Group.

Previously, the station went through multiple format and call letter changes. In 1988, it flipped from country to a national AC satellite format, but faced low ratings due to competition from other successful adult contemporary stations in the area. In 1989, it shifted to a local AC format and gradually incorporated CHR titles, completing the move to CHR/pop in 1990.

In October 2000, the station changed its call letters to WDTP and became a repeater of 95.7 WDPT, playing 80s adult hits. This simulcast was branded as "95.7 Northside and 95.3 Southside." However, in September 2002, the format changed again, and it became a simulcast of news/talk WHIO-AM.

Finally, in 2006, the station transformed into a classic hits format and adopted the name "95.3 The Eagle - Dayton's Classic Hits Station." Core artists during this era included Fleetwood Mac, Bob Seger, The Eagles, and The Doobie Brothers. The station also added the nationally syndicated "Bubba the Love Sponge" morning show in March 2009." [*]
