Radio WBOL 1560 (AM)

Owned and operated by Johnny and Opal Shaw, Shaw's Broadcasting, LLC consists of WBOL AM 1560 and WOJG FM 94.7. WOGJ is the ONLY black-owned, 6 kilowatt radio station in the state of Tennessee.

WBOL 1560 AM was established in 1987 as the first radio station to broadcast in Hardeman County offering the best of Staxs and Motown Records for the 60's through the 90's.

In 1992, WOJG 94.7 FM was added as a 24 / 7 Urban Gospel Station. Offering quality programs such as Action News 5, national, regional and local news, traffic, weather, public service announcements, community talk and ministry broadcasts. Locally, WOJG serves 14 counties in West Tennessee and North Mississippi and can be also accessed for global streaming.
