KURS 1040am is an Urban Gospel radio station in San Diego, California. It flipped to its current format on May 1, 2009.

Before KURS AM was a Gospel station. the station used to air an Oldies format known as Kool 1040. As of today the Oldies format has since move to fm on 105.7, the station is known as 105.7 The Walrus.
