The thoughts for the creation of a new radio station, existed enough time before the foundation of STYLE 100. Concretely the summertime of ' 91, seeing that a negative situation prevailed in our area concerning radio stations, we wanted to create a radio station that would make a difference and change the face of radio so much in Sitia, and in all the Prefecture of Lasithi.
Thus, STYLE 100 "was established " on 11 May 1992 and and one month later, in June 1992 we started broadcasting.
Our Targets :
Our basic targets were the creation of a radio station that would differ from all the other and would respect the listener and advertised. To achieve these targets, we placed the following objectives. The choice of music that will not degrade the human intelligence, the contribution in the growth of place and in the solution of local problems, the valid and convenient briefing mainly on the local developments, the promotion of our cultural delivery and our positive contribution in the entertainment and amusement of listener.
Success :
Today, we are absolutely satisfied seeing that our targets were accomplished, creating a real radio station and reached the top. Naturally we don't rely on the achievement of our objectives, on the contrary, it activates us and creates us more responsibilities for a continuous search of new ways of radio expression and creation.
