BYU Radio officially launched August 1, 2002, bringing its programming to home, computers, and televisions all over the world. The BYU Radio Network continues to grow steadily across the globe. The station is available on Dish Network, the Internet, selected cable systems throughout the United States, and via satellite.

Today, the network's library contains thousands of hours of lectures, conferences, and campus devotionals on a variety of subjects. In addition, BYU Radio features a unique mix of peaceful and uplifting music. Along with this programming, the station also features a wide variety of live broadcasts, including BYU Sports and concerts from the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. BYU Radio is an exciting alternative to "cookie-cutter" formats that dot the radio dial.
